OBEDIENCE
IS KEY
This month marks 6 years of itinerant ministry and living in our tiny homes on wheels! We started out as a family of 5 with a good old Prado and a reno project caravan and now there is 7 of us, with let’s just say a much larger rig! God is amazing and His provision never fails! When you are obedient to His voice and leading you can be guaranteed an amazing adventure with Him. It’s been the biggest faith journey up to date for our family but as of this year the call from the Father is inviting us to take what feels for us, like an even bigger leap of Faith!
Last year the Lord put a very clear vision/ project in front of us which to be honest my human brain is still trying to grasp! But we know that obedience is more important than fully understanding the “why’s”. This vision is a long term build. It’s not an overnight process but a journey of growth, preparation, Kingdom alignments and partnerships. It’s not about us really at all… it’s about The Kingdom advancing, building the church (His people) with a five fold focus. Seeing the Bride of Christ, revived, restored, and released into the giftings and callings God has for each of us. It’s exciting!
We knew this past year was a year of transition for our family. And like only God can, He has opened up an amazing opportunity for us to partner with some beautiful laid down lovers of Christ and build what He is asking us to build. It hasn’t come without some serious prayer, tears, laughter, warfare and surrender. Because even if it looked from the outside “perfect” we didn’t want a bar of it, if it wasn’t confirmed and stupidly clear from God that it was His next step for our family. Our Heavenly Father is so gracious because He did just that… through dreams, encounters, prophetic words and visions the Lord wouldn’t let it go! It was confirmed so many times that I remember at one point, completely undone and in shock and awe..going “OK God, we are listening, and we know without a doubt that this is it. You couldn’t have made it any clearer!” And He knew I needed that.. I needed such reassurance to take this step. God you are so gracious and patient with your kids.
The Lord is asking us to partner and plant roots down in the Coffs Harbour Region, with permission to dream, build and run with an already established ministry that have the same vision and heart that God has given us. It’s a beautiful and powerful Kingdom alignment and we are so excited to step into all that God has for us in the years ahead! With this faith step also comes a beautiful home for our family. A base and a place, a house of worship, a place for ministry, a place of safety where we can launch and expand into what God is asking us to do. It still hasn’t all sunk in! I am in awe of His goodness and faithfulness. The Truck and Van will still be in use for ministry as the Lord leads but we are ready to take this next step as a family, plant roots and build! Obedience is key! To know God, be His son/ daughter, hear His voice and do what He says.
Thank you for reading, thank you for the years of loving and encouraging and championing us on. The prayer covering, the support, the friendships… this journey on the road has been such a crazy but amazing training ground for us and as we shift gears into the next adventure, your continued support means so much! There is a shifting and a shaking happening, the Lord is rebuilding and recommissioning His people. Brace yourselves as God is moving and the waves of His Glory and redemption are rising. What a time to be alive on the earth! Have your way Father in our lives.

So wonderful to read your latest episode of the ongoing adventure of your family.
Obedience sure is the key – often in the face of others opinions and even common sense.
But when God is leading & confirming it is unthinkable to not follow – it would be “disobeying” God.
I’m excited for your willingness to continue on Gods adventure.
Kaz & I did the same as we left Newcastle to come to Port Mac on the back of a vision. And then in response to a dream & many prophetic words & confirmations to launch a church in the basement of a club (not usually done back in the day) & then to see God at work over the next 2 decades as we pastored the Church He called us to for that season. Knowing when that season is over was another new & challenging stage to everything after 2 culture shifting decades. But the Spirit is sweeping His church into new forms for the decades to come. Till He returns.
But – J&K – so proud of your heart for obedience – to Him & His Kingdom.
